Welcome to The Kings Cabins — a project close to our hearts and one we’re proud to share with visitors to Tambo.

Josh and Denae Phelps had the original vision for The Kings Cabins. As local graziers and business owners, they saw an opportunity to create quality accommodation that would benefit our western town and support the many travellers, workers and events that bring people to the region.

Matt and Jess Hanson manage the day-to-day operations of the cabins and are here to make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

Alongside the cabins, they manage a cattle property about 50 minutes south-west of Tambo and have invested in the Blackall–Tambo region both physically and emotionally through local business and community involvement.

Between the two families we have six young children growing up in this wonderful part of the world, so we understand the importance of friendly, genuine country hospitality.
